What is Publish Or Perish?
Publish Or Perish is a satirical reminder tool for academic deadlines based on the classic aphorism. You enter one or more conference names, and it generates a countdown page to remind you to keep writing and stay on time.
Where does the deadline information come from?
Information is pulled from CCFDDL Open Deadlines, without whom this project would have been impossible. I tried to write my own automatic conference deadline aggregator... read my blog post for why that didn't work.
Is this affiliated with any of the conference organizations listed?
No. This is an independent side project and is not officially affiliated with ACM, IEEE, or any conference organization. This is a joke site, after all :)
Why do you show multiple conferences at once?
Almost all of us are familiar with juggling several submissions at the same time. Seeing all the deadlines together makes the tradeoffs and time pressure much more concrete.
Can I rely on this instead of checking the CFP?
PLEASE DO NOT RELY ON THIS! This is a tongue-in-cheek way of keeping your research momentum. You should always verify deadlines on the official conference site.
